Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions of sale constitute a binding contract between Customer and The Saddle and Tack Warehouse (STW) or the Saddle and Tack website (Site). By placing an order with STW the Customer accepts these terms and conditions of sale.

These terms and conditions of sale are subject to change without notice and will be posted on the website. In the case of a disputed transaction, the terms and conditions that were effective at the time an order was placed will govern.

Privacy Statement

Your privacy is important to us. We will not sell your email address to other companies and only share personally identifiable information with our third party partner companies for order processing, credit card clearance, and other services of an administrative nature.

Customer consents to receive electronic records, which may be provided via a web browser or e-mail application connected to the Internet.

No security system, or system of transmitting data over the Internet, can be guaranteed as 100% secure. However, we will do everything we can to protect your privacy and use security measures to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of personal information. We operate secure data networks protected by standard firewall and password protection.

Site Content

The Customer understands that STW is not the manufacturer of the products. STW has used reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information; however, it makes no warranties or representation as to the accuracy of its contents. We are not responsible for typographical errors or omissions. Due to circumstances beyond our control, all products may not be available all of the time. The STW makes efforts to include the manufacturer’s specifications, pictures or illustrations but does not assume any liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the contents.

Colors and patterns are changed often by the manufacturers and we cannot guarantee how long colors or patterns will be available.



STW reserves the right to make adjustments to pricing and products based on manufacturing price changes, product discontinuation, product unavailability, and errors in printed or online advertisement. STW cannot guarantee that we will be able to fulfill every order with the exact product or prices specified.

Limited Liability Statement

STW warrants to the original purchaser that the products sold by its manufacturers shall be free from defects in material and/or workmanship when delivered, but not thereafter. The Customer must examine products immediately upon receipt. If any such product appears to be defective the Customer shall promptly contact STW at questions@saddleandtackwarehouse.com  who will help to expedite product replacement with the manufacturer. Refer to the Return procedure section.

STW will not be responsible for any delays in delivery which result from any circumstances beyond STW's control, including, discontinued product, product unavailability, holidays, carrier delays, delays due to fire, power failures, natural disasters,  labor problems, acts of war, or terrorism.

The total liability of STW for losses, damages, negligence, or other causes of action will not be greater than the dollar amount paid for merchandise by the Customer.

Product Warranties

STW does not endorse or warranty products. The Site and all content are provided "As Is" and "As Available". The content is provided without any representations or warranties, expressed or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose except those offered by the manufacturer.

In some cases, the manufacturer may warranty the product for a certain length of time or under certain conditions. To validate a manufacturer’s warranty, the Customer must register the product upon receipt by contacting the manufacturer directly or through their website. Manufacturer’s warranties shall be handled directly between the Customer and the manufacturer.

Shipments and Risk of Loss

Customer will be responsible for all shipping and related charges. STW retains a security interest in the products until packages are received by the Customer. Once product leaves STW, we cannot be responsible for delays, damages, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Certain items that we offer are stocked and shipped by the manufacturers. In certain circumstances, there will be further delays, generally caused by the manufacturing process.  In these unusual circumstances, we will inform you of the expected delivery time.  Tracking numbers for items are generally available a day or so after the shipping date. Because of the special nature of these types of orders, your credit card will be charged for the item at the time you place your order.

Orders, Payment Terms & Taxes

The Customer’s credit card will be charged at the time the order is placed. The amount will include the cost of the product and estimated domestic shipping charges. Shipping and handling charges may vary according to weight, package size, and distance. Shipping costs collected at the time the order is placed are estimates and may vary from the actual amount. International customers must call ahead to obtain estimate shipping charges.  Orders are not binding until accepted by STW.

Once an order has been placed and there is further need to contact STW. Please contact us via email  at questions@saddleandtackwarehouse.com  we will get back to you to resolve any outstanding issues. Please DO NOT attempt to reverse a credit card payment. Any charges resulting from this action will be the responsibility of the Customer.

The Customer is responsible for any applicable or other taxes or federal, state or local fees associated with the order. In the event of a payment default, Customer will be expected to reimburse STW for collection costs; including court costs, filing fees, and attorney fees.

International Orders

STW ships worldwide. Shipping and handling charges will vary with the package weight, size, and distance, therefore, International orders must contact STW (preferably by email) at questions@saddleandtackwarehouse.com  to obtain estimated shipping charges before submitting your order.

Our shopping cart only calculates the shipping charges for 48 contiguous states in the continental US. Certain countries have size restrictions on packages and cannot be shipped via parcel post. In these cases we must use a courier service, and the cost can be considerably more.

Tax and Duty Fees:  Your country may charge additional taxes or duties on your order when it enters your country. You are responsible for paying any additional charges.

Order Fulfillment

STW is not the manufacturer of products but is authorized to sell products produced by manufacturers and other dealers. We may not have sufficient stock of items ordered, requiring STW to obtain the product from the manufacturer before the order can be fulfilled. Order fulfillment in these cases is based on product availability and may include additional shipping delays. In most cases shipping of the product can be expected from 3-14 days from the time the order is placed. We do our best to fulfill orders in the shortest amount of time and keep you informed.

Once an order has been placed and there is further need to contact STW. Please contact us via email and we will get back to you to resolve any outstanding issues. Do NOT attempt to reverse a credit card payment. Any charges resulting from this action will be the responsibility of the Customer.

Return Policy

A Return Authorization Number (RA#) must be obtained by contacting STW website at questions@saddleandtackwarehouse.com  prior to returning any merchandise. No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization number and will be returned at the Customer’s expense. All returned items must be returned in the same condition as when shipped. We do not accept returns on used merchandise. Special orders, personalized items, used, misused, or incomplete items are not returnable.

Defective Product:  If product appears to be defective contact STW promptly and we will help to get the product replaced for the identical product. We will help to expedite defective product replacement by working with our manufacturers. Do not return product until we have determined whether to have the product returned directly to the manufacturer or to STW.

Purchases may be returned within 30 days only if a Return Authorization Number has been obtained and other return criteria have been met. A store credit or refund will be issued at the discretion of STW. Returned merchandise and will be subject to a 30% restocking fee. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Re-pack the items in a sturdy box with a copy of the original packing slip, if available. Describe in detail why the product is being returned and the expected outcome (exchange, credit). This information will make processing of the return easier. Send the package prepaid and insured by UPS GROUND or the US POSTAL SERVICE. For your protection, please insure the package. Return shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item is being returned as a result of our error (damaged, defective, wrong item sent, etc.). We do not accept COD. Save your shipping receipt and tracking number for proof of return delivery. We are not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged by the return shipping company.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions of sale and any sale will be governed by of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflicts of law principles. You agree and hereby submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the Federal and State Courts located in Minnesota USA.

These terms and conditions contain the entire agreement between you and The Saddle and Tack Warehouse, relating to the Customer’s use of the STW Site.
